On the go

Грех предаваться унынью, когда есть другие грехи!(c)
There's something inherently wrong with converting a church into a nightclub, particularly an ancient church. There are two of these in Aberdeen.

Some books are deliscious to read, some are captivating to the point of toothacke when with every plot turn you want to break into the fictional world contained by these letters, words and phrases and help the haracters, and some... Some are too realistic and hopeless at the same time - they don't make you want to interfere because there's nothing you could do, no interference would save the characters or ease their suffering, and these stories hit you with their weight, punch you hard because you know they might be real. Probably, this is what makes many classic stories classic (or, better say, explains why a large share of classics is made of fairly gruesome stories). Anyway, as you might have guessed I have just finished a story of this type and can't get it out of my head...

In the meantime, outside my head Aberdeen is beautiful in the blue twilight, its beauty completed with surreal lights of night clubs coming out of ancinet churches.

Lumenta, та, в которой ничем никому не поможешь The Fault in Our Stars, автор John Green
Та, в котрой хочется всех предупредить и спасти The World Without End, автор Ken Follet

Обе очень хороши)))
